- The post is a purely temporary, tenure position under the DHR-funded Technical Resource Centre and is co-terminus with the project; it carries no claim on a regular post in DHR, ICMR or AIIMS Madurai.
- Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department or Organisation are not eligible to apply.
- The appointment is full-time and private practice of any kind is prohibited; the engaged person will not be permitted to pursue any educational course.
- The candidate should be able to talk fluently in English and Tamil.
- No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
- The crucial date for calculation of age limit and experience is the last date of online submission of application; qualifications or experience obtained after the closing date will not be considered.

- Previous training or work experience in SRMA

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic reviews and meta-analyses under the Technical Resource Centre
- Develop literature search strategies and undertake systematic literature searches
- Undertake study screening, data extraction and critical appraisal or risk-of-bias assessment
- Conduct quantitative synthesis, meta-analysis and data analysis using appropriate software
- Prepare evidence tables and evidence profiles
- Assist in assessment of certainty of evidence using the GRADE approach
- Assist in preparation of evidence-based guideline documents and technical reports
- Prepare scientific manuscripts, reports and presentations
- Assist in workshops and training programmes related to evidence synthesis and guideline development
Syllabus for Interview
Questions will cover research methodology, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, evidence synthesis, epidemiology, biostatistics and evidence-based guideline development. The assessment may also include hands-on exercises on literature searching, data extraction, critical appraisal, statistical analysis or meta-analysis and reporting.
