Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This policy explains what information VacancyBook (vacancybook.com) collects when you visit, and how it is used.
No accounts
You can use VacancyBook without an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal details to read the website, and it has no sign-up, login or comment forms. The only form is the contact form, described below.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, how people arrive (for example from a search engine), and roughly where visitors are and what device they use. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to tell visits apart, and the information is processed by Google. It is used only as combined statistics to improve the website, not to identify you. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and abuse. Cloudflare may set a small security cookie to tell people apart from automated traffic. It is not used for advertising. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Advertising
VacancyBook shows ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this website or to other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this website and/or other websites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or www.youronlinechoices.eu. If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your browsing. See how Google uses cookies in advertising.
Ads are shown by Google, not chosen by us, and an ad appearing on VacancyBook is not a recommendation. Ads are never part of a job post, and VacancyBook never asks for money to apply for any job.
Saved jobs
If you press Save job, the list of jobs you saved is kept only in your own browser (its local storage). It is not linked to you and we do not keep it. When you open the Saved Jobs page, your browser asks our server for the latest details of those jobs, and that request is logged like any other page request. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the list. When you save or remove a job, your browser also tells our server, which adds one to an anonymous count for that job; we do not record who saved it.
Server logs
Like most websites, our servers and Cloudflare record basic technical information for each request: your IP address, the page requested (including any search you make on the website), the time, and your browser type. We use it only to keep the website running and secure, for example to find errors and block abuse. To count a saved job or a click only once per day, a one-way coded form of your connection's address is kept for a few days and then deleted. We do not sell it or use it to identify you. Our own server logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted automatically.
Preferred source on Google
The “Add VacancyBook as a preferred source on Google” link opens Google’s own page; whether you add us is between you and Google. We only count, anonymously, how many times the link is clicked.
Links and share buttons
Posts link to official websites, and the share buttons open WhatsApp, Telegram or your device's share menu. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave VacancyBook.
Contacting us
If you send us a message through the contact form, we keep your name, email address and message, and a coded form of your connection's address that cannot be turned back into it (used only to stop repeated spam). We use them only to read and answer your message, and delete them when they are no longer needed for that.
Children
VacancyBook is meant for job seekers and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we add anything that collects more information, we will update this page first. The date at the top shows the latest version.
