Selection Process
- 1Shortlisting
Shortlisting for interview is done on the basis of educational qualification, relevant experience and/or shortlisting criteria decided by the Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Nagpur; a screening test may be held if there are a large number of applications.
- 2Document Verification
Scrutiny of applications and verification of documents for qualification, experience and age is carried out by a duly constituted committee; only candidates declared eligible are allowed to appear for the interview.
- 3Interview
Held at AIIMS Nagpur or another place or mode decided by the Executive Director & CEO; candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks fixed by the Selection Committee.

Important Details
- The engagement is purely on contract for 11 months 29 days and cannot be regularized at any stage.
- Candidates working in Central, State Government, Semi-Government or Autonomous bodies must submit a No Objection Certificate from their organization at the time of interview, failing which the candidature may be rejected.
- No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview or joining.
- The appointee is not entitled to Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority or Promotion.
- Applying elsewhere or resigning within the first three months of joining means no NOC, relieving letter or experience certificate will be issued.
- The appointee is on whole-time engagement of AIIMS Nagpur and cannot accept any other assignment.
- Paid leave of one day is allowed for each completed month of service.
- The interview will be held at AIIMS Nagpur.
- The Executive Director & CEO reserves the right to change the number of vacancies or cancel the advertisement.
Contract Terms
- Engagement is purely on contract for 11 months 29 days, extendable based on the Institute's requirement and satisfactory performance
- Appointment can be terminated at any time by either side with one month's notice or one month's salary
- Appointee shall perform duties and working hours as per the norms of the Institute; no extra allowance for additional duty assigned
- Paid leave of absence at the rate of 1 day for each completed month of service
- Appointee must take an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of India on engagement
- Appointee is not entitled to allowances or facilities extended to regular/permanent faculty of AIIMS Nagpur
