B.E./ B.Tech. and M.E. / M.Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or Equivalent either in B.E./ B.Tech. or M.E. / M.Tech. The concerned / relevant / allied subjects as approved by the University in compliance of the order of the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Allahabad in Writ A. No. 368 of 2021 are given in Annexure I.

    The University may constitute a Committee to scrutinize the applications and short-list the applicants; call letters are sent only to short-listed candidates.

    Interview will be held on 29.10.2026 at 10:00 am at the Dean's Office, F/o Engg. & Tech.

How to Apply

  1. 1Register and fill the online application form on the AMU careers portal.
  2. 2Pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500 in online mode at the careers portal.
  3. 3Take a printout of the PDF file of the application form on A4 size paper.
  4. 4Append your signature and paste a front facing recent photograph at the designated place on the form.
  5. 5Attach attested copies of all relevant documents with the application form.
  6. 6Submit the application form by post to the Office of the Principal, University Polytechnic (Boys), super-scribing the post applied for and the advertisement number and its date on the top-left side of the cover.
  7. 7Ensure the form reaches the office on or before 20 October 2026 by 4:00 pm.

Important Details

  • The post is reserved under E-Category of PwD; only candidates with a relevant disability of a minimum extent of 40% may apply and must upload a Disability Certificate on the prescribed proforma (Appendix-I) issued by the Competent Authority.
  • The claim of disability is examined by the University Medical Board before the appointment letter is issued.
  • Appointment is purely on temporary basis, liable to termination at any time without notice or assignment of reason.
  • Separate application forms are to be filled for each post detailed under a different serial number.
  • Qualifications, experience and other eligibility conditions will be reckoned as on the last date of submission of the application form.
  • Applications received late or without the necessary self-attested supporting documents will be summarily rejected.
