- No separate notice or interview letter will be issued; eligible candidates must report to the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, AMU, Aligarh half an hour before the scheduled Local Selection Committee time with all original documents.
- The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum, and the University may restrict the number of applicants called for interview and constitute a committee to scrutinize and shortlist applications.

PwD Category Rules
Only persons with a relevant disability of at least 40% may apply against posts earmarked for PwD candidates, and must upload a Disability Certificate on the prescribed proforma (Appendix-I) issued by the Competent Authority. Applicable disabilities are blindness and low vision (VH); deaf and hard of hearing (HH); locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid-attack victims and muscular dystrophy (OH); autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness; and multiple disabilities from among these including deaf-blindness. The claim is examined by the Medical Board of the University to assess the extent of disability before the appointment letter is issued.
