Salary Structure
Rs.61,000/- + HRA per month (for M.Tech (RS&GIS)) & Rs.67,000/- + HRA per month (for Ph.D. (RS & GIS))

Important Details
- The post is purely temporary for 11 months from the date of joining and no TA/DA is admissible.
- All candidates must have one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) or NAAS rated (24.0) journal, and all relevant degrees must be completed in accredited universities or colleges by a competent authority.
- Candidates with relevant research experience such as Senior Research Fellowship, Junior Research Fellowship or equivalents will be given priority, and knowledge of satellite image processing, GIS, coding and ICT tool development with proficiency in programming using Python, Google Earth Engine (GEE) and Java is expected.
Job Description
Scientific and technical support essential to the execution of remote sensing based research activities: conducting systematic ground truth observations, pre-processing of multi-temporal satellite data, digital image interpretation and classification, customisation of code based scripts for geospatial data analysis, automation of processing workflows and maintenance of workstations and other relevant works.
