Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, has announced recruitment for Supervisor-S&T, Supervisor-Safety and Supervisor-Civil posts on a contractual basis. A total of 10 vacancies are on offer for deployment at the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC)/DMIL office in Mumbai. Qualification
Three years regular Engineering Diploma OR four-year regular course in B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Computer Science/Information Technology, obtained from a University/Institution recognized by UGC, AICTE or any other Government-recognized accrediting body.
Experience
Candidates presently working or having worked in the relevant field with minimum professional experience of one year in telecom systems in Metro/Railways/Airport/smart cities/public or private telecom networks. The experience should be of supervisory nature in the relevant discipline and the candidate should be conversant with functioning in a computerized environment. Candidates working in Mumbai/Maharashtra region would be preferred.

Minimum CGPA of 6.0 or 60% marks from a Government recognized University/Institution approved by UGC/AICTE or any other competent Government authority.
Experience
Candidates presently working or having worked in the relevant field with total professional experience of four years, out of which two years should be in Metro/Railways, with minimum annual CTC of Rs. 3 lakh or above. The experience should be of supervisory nature in the relevant discipline and the candidate should be conversant with functioning in a computerized environment. Candidates working in Mumbai/Maharashtra region would be preferred.

Selection Process

    Scrutiny and Shortlisting

    Applications are scrutinised and shortlisted on the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post; BECIL may also apply its own shortlisting criteria such as higher qualifications or greater relevant experience.

    Interview / Assessment / Skill Test

    The shortlist is forwarded to the Client/Principal Employer, which decides the interview, assessment, skill test or any other evaluation method; shortlisted candidates are informed of the date, time and venue or mode by registered email and/or telephone.

    Document Verification

    Shortlisted candidates produce original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates and testimonials.

Pay: Rs. 40,303 per month (consolidated CTC)
Supervisor-Safety
Pay: Rs. 65,000 per month (consolidated CTC)
Supervisor-Civil
Pay: Rs. 65,000 per month (consolidated CTC)

Important Details

  • The engagement is purely contractual for one year and the number of vacancies is tentative, so it may increase or decrease as per the requirement of the Client/Principal Employer.
  • Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application for each post and pay the application processing fee separately for each.
  • Selected candidates must submit a valid Police Verification Report at the time of document verification, failing which the selection can be cancelled.
  • Candidates previously engaged by BECIL or the Client and whose services were terminated, discontinued or not renewed for disciplinary action, misconduct, unsatisfactory performance or violation of contractual terms are not eligible.
  • No TA/DA is admissible for attending any test, document verification, interview, personal interaction, skill test or for joining duties.
  • Preference may be given to local candidates and to those possessing relevant experience in the same or similar department.
