Important Details
- Only online applications with the required uploaded enclosures are accepted; applications sent by email will not be entertained.

- In-service candidates must forward the hard copy through proper channel; if the employer's endorsement is delayed, an advance copy may be sent directly and a No Objection Certificate must be produced at the interview if the original has not reached by the last date.

Experience Consideration
- The appointment must have been made in accordance with the UGC Regulations, Government or University rules applicable on the date of appointment; for teaching experience in affiliated colleges the University's approval or recognition of the appointment for the claimed period must be attached.
- An experience certificate issued by the competent authority with designation, pay level, gross salary, type of appointment and tenure of appointment.
- Copy of the salary certificate or pay slip for the month of August 2026 showing pay matrix range, pay matrix level, dearness allowance and other allowances, to be enclosed with the application and produced at the interview or document verification.
- ITR/26AS/Form 16 clearly showing salary credited by the employer for each employment period, or a copy of the last month pay slip of each employment if gross salary is below the basic exemption limit.
- Experience gained as daily wager, trainee, honorary, ad hoc and visiting faculty cannot be considered as experience.
- Time taken to acquire M.Phil. or Ph.D. is not counted as teaching or research experience.
Reservation and Category Certificates
Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/PwD and other candidates is as per existing Gujarat State Government rules. Only SC/ST/SEBC/EWS candidates of Gujarat origin get the reserved category benefit. SEBC candidates must attach a valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued between 01/04/2024 and 16/10/2026, and EWS candidates must attach a valid EWS Certificate issued between 17/10/2023 and 16/10/2026. PwBD candidates are exempted from the fee on submission of a valid disability certificate; a certificate marked only 'Temporary' makes the candidature not eligible.
Checklist and Annexures
Annexure-I (Check List) is mandatory for all posts and must be attached at the beginning of the application form, with all supporting documents arranged strictly in the sequence prescribed in the checklist; applications without the checklist or with documents in a different order may be rejected. Annexure-II (Endorsement by the Employer) is mandatory for already employed applicants.
