Contract and Service Conditions
- Appointment is purely contractual up to 31.03.2027 with a 1-day break every 90 days, or until a regular candidate is appointed, whichever is earlier.
- Contractual employees are not entitled to dearness allowance, house rent allowance or any other allowance, and no pension or provident fund scheme applies.
- Mumbai Municipal Corporation (Service) Rules 1989 will not apply after appointment.
- Selected candidates must execute a contract agreement on Rs. 500 bond paper at their own expense.
- Biometric attendance is mandatory for contractual employees.
- A character certificate from the concerned police station showing no criminal record must be submitted within one month of appointment.
- Candidates already employed must attach a No Objection Certificate from their current employer with the application.
- Applications submitted earlier to this office or elsewhere will not be considered, and BMC has not authorised any person or agency to sell or accept applications.
