Eligibility Details
Project Associate-I
Essential: Master's Degree in Biotechnology/ Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ or equivalent from a recognized University. Desirable: Candidates with hands-on experience in microbial cultivation, fermentation techniques, microbial enzyme assays, purification, and characterization will be preferred.

Selection Process
Applications are screened and shortlisted candidates are called for an interview. No TA/DA is paid to attend the interview.
Salary Structure
Rs. 31,000 + 8% HRA per month for scholars selected through CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE, or through a national level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions; Rs. 25,000 + 8% HRA per month for others.

- The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- Selected candidates cannot claim regular appointment in BRIC-IBSD, Imphal and its branches or in DBT, New Delhi.
