Important Details
- Applications are accepted only in person at the walk-in interview; incomplete applications are rejected summarily and conditional applications are not entertained.
- Canvassing in any form disqualifies a candidate.
- Reservation applies as per Government of India norms.
- Candidates holding degrees from foreign universities must enclose an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
Contract Terms
Engagement is purely on contract basis for one year and carries no claim for absorption, extension or permanent employment. The contract may be extended for a further period decided by the university, based solely on satisfactory performance during the engagement. The selected candidate must submit an affidavit attested by a first class Magistrate or Notary at the time of joining, failing which the offer passes to the next candidate in the selection panel.
Leave Entitlement
The person engaged is entitled to 4 casual leaves in six months.
Offer Validity
The engagement offer remains valid for 10 days from the date of issue of the engagement order. Non-reporting or non-joining within that period automatically cancels the engagement, and the post is offered to the next candidate as per the merit list in vogue.
