- Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil from a Govt. recognized Institute / University approved by AICTE/UGC. Post graduation in a relevant field is desirable.
- Experience
- Minimum 15 years of post qualification executive experience. Govt organisations: officer working in Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) in Railways or equivalent in GoI, or Executive Engineer (EE) cadre in State Govt organisations. Metros/PSUs: at least 4 years as DGM in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 80000-220000 or equivalent. Pay Options for Deputationists
A deputationist may either draw the pay being drawn in the parent organisation with deputation allowance and project allowance at 10% of Basic Pay each, or draw the equivalent cadre IDA pay scale in CMRL with IDA, HRA and Cafeteria Allowance at 31.5% of Basic Pay.
Medical Examination
CMRL bears the expenses of the first medical examination of the candidate. If a candidate seeks an extension for joining, the second medical examination expenditure is borne by the candidate. To and fro travel expenses for the medical test are borne by the candidate. A candidate who fails the prescribed medical test will not be given any alternative employment and the decision of CMRL is final.
Residency Period Relaxation for Internal Candidates
Two years relaxation in the residency period in the next below scale for the posts of Assistant Manager to Manager and one year relaxation for the posts from Deputy General Manager to Assistant General Manager will be considered for internal candidates.
