SG Officer of IRTS cadre with 14 years but less than 17 years of Group 'A' service will be designated as Sr. GM (C&O). JAG/SG Officer of IRTS cadre who has completed minimum 9 years of Group 'A' service will be designated as GM (C&O). The officer should have practical experience in marketing, commercial and operational activities.

Selection Process
- 1Screening and Evaluation
A Screening Committee nominated by the Competent Authority judges Professional Ability (30 marks), Experience (20 marks), Seniority (20 marks) and APAR (30 marks) on a 100-point scale.
Salary Structure
Rs. 1,00,000-3%-2,60,000 (E-7) (IDA scale) or Rs. 90,000-3%-2,40,000 (E-6) (IDA scale)
General Manager/C&O (E-7): Rs. 1,00,000-3%-2,60,000 (IDA scale) Senior General Manager/C&O (E-6): Rs. 90,000-3%-2,40,000 (IDA scale) As per extant Govt. directive, the officer will draw the salary of the parent department plus deputation allowance. Allowances and perks are payable as per the entitlement of the officer.
