Selection Process

Interview held at CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata on 07-10-2026 from 11:00 a.m.; candidates report at least one hour early for verification of documents.
Salary Structure
Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month or Rs. 25,000/- + HRA per month
Rs. 31,000/- + HRA as admissible p.m. to candidates selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship), ICAR NET, ICMR NET or GATE, or (b) a selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions. Rs. 25,000/- + HRA as admissible p.m. to candidates who do not fall under the above.

Important Details
- Candidates presently engaged in any project either at CSIR-CGCRI or any other organisation or lab must furnish a copy of the NOC from their existing Project Leader.
- Candidates with results awaited are not eligible.
- The application must be in the prescribed format and typed, not handwritten; incomplete applications without the prescribed format and supporting documents will be rejected.
- Candidates must calculate the percentage from CGPA/DGPA as per their university or institute rule and attach a self-attested copy of that rule.
- A separate application is required if applying for more than one position or advertisement number.
- The Institute may increase or decrease the number of positions or not fill the post.
