M. E / M. Tech in Civil/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Environmental Engineering or Technology from a recognized University. And 5 years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services. Experience will be counted from the date after acquiring the minimum educational qualification; dissertation or thesis work done during the academic period will not be counted as experience, and time spent in acquiring a higher qualification will not be counted as experience over the essential qualification.

Salary Structure
Rs. 67,000/- + HRA per month, with an increment of 5% for every 2 years of experience in the same project

- The engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and does not confer any right, implicit or explicit, to regularization against any CSIR or CSIR-NEERI post.
- Only candidates who have already acquired the essential qualification and whose result has been declared, with at least a provisional certificate, are eligible; result-awaited, final semester appearing and Ph.D. submitted candidates are not eligible and are not allowed to appear for the interview.
- No application fee is payable.
- Selected candidates must sign an undertaking to maintain confidentiality of project findings and associated intellectual property, must join within the time frame in the offer letter after medical examination and character verification, and must arrange their own accommodation, though HRA is admissible as per rules.
- The offer letter is issued initially for the period for which funds are available, and a review committee assesses performance for any extension.
- No TA is paid for appearing in an offline interview.
