Reservation and Local Preference
The rule of reservation and the Telangana Public Employment (Organisation of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order 2018 will be followed. Each post notified is a single post in its category; of the two posts of Social Worker and of Outreach Worker, one is for a man and one for a woman. A roster is opened for each category with this selection and each post falls at its first point, which is open competition. Local candidates of Jangaon District will be selected first in the order of merit; a non-local candidate is considered only where no local candidate is found eligible.
Merit and Tie-breaking
The selection list for each post is drawn in the order of total marks. Where the total is equal, the candidate with more marks in the written examination, and then the candidate older in age, is placed higher. A waiting list is kept for one year.
