Ministerial officers who have retired on attaining the age of superannuation, who are under 65 years of age, and who have a sufficient remaining period of service to work until attaining the age of 65, and who possess a satisfactory record of service are eligible.

Important Details
- Employees who were dismissed, removed, compulsorily retired or made to seek retirement on medical grounds are not eligible for re-employment.
- The appointment is purely temporary and on contract basis, and the re-employed shall be entitled to such consolidated remuneration as may be determined from time to time by the Government or the Hon'ble High Court.
- On appointment the appointee shall enter into an agreement with the concerned unit head initially for one year.
Terms of Re-employment
- Appointment is subject to verification of service records, a medical fitness certificate and an agreement with the concerned unit head
- The re-employed shall discharge duties sincerely, courteously and honestly to the satisfaction of the presiding officers
- Services are liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons and without any notice
