    Merit is prepared from the marks obtained in the prescribed qualifying examination; if marks are equal, the older candidate is preferred.

Important Details

  • The engagement is an interim arrangement only.
  • No appointment or posting order will be issued and the guest teacher cannot claim reappointment.
  • The arrangement stays in force until a regular lecturer takes charge and is valid for the financial year 2026-27.
  • The School Management and Development Committee may discontinue the engagement at any time without giving a reason.
  • The monthly honorarium is paid by the Principal after certification by the committee, and is reduced proportionally for days on which teaching is not done.
  • Guest teachers must take part in co-curricular activities and follow the instructions of the head of the institution.
  • Previous local guest teachers and residents of the local Gram Panchayat are given priority.
  • Where marks in the qualifying examination are equal, the older candidate is preferred.
  • If candidates with the prescribed qualifications are not available, the conditions may be relaxed.
  • The Collector's decision is final in case of any dispute.
