About District Panchayat Dhamtari Accountant Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Details

Accountant (Janpad Level)

Degree in B.Com. with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates).

Age Limit

Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2026

Age Relaxation

As per Chhattisgarh government rules, including up to 5 years relaxation for local resident unemployed youth of Chhattisgarh, subject to a maximum age limit of 45 years after all relaxations. Government servants, corporation, board and contract employees, and Nagar Sainik staff get a maximum age limit of 45 years. SC/ST candidates need 50% in B.Com instead of 55%.

Selection Process

    Weightage of Higher Secondary Marks

    Up to 20 marks based on the percentage obtained in Higher Secondary (400 marks total).

    Weightage of Essential Educational Qualification

    Up to 50 marks based on the percentage in the minimum essential qualification (B.Com).

    Computer Practical Test

    15 marks; candidates are called in a 1:10 ratio per category, and absence cancels candidature.

    Experience Weightage

    Up to 15 marks based on duration of experience in government rural development schemes at a comparable pay scale.

  3. 3Attach self-attested photocopies of educational certificates, marksheets, domicile certificate, caste certificate and experience certificates.

  5. 5Send the application by registered post or speed post to the Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh.

Important Details

Contract and Service Conditions

The appointment is on contract up to 28 February 2027 and may be extended by one year based on work capability and conduct. Leave is as per the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Contract Appointment) Rules, 2012, and the appointee is governed by the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1965. No pension or gratuity is payable for the contract service. The number of posts is subject to change.
