Important Details
- Applicants must be permanent residents of Chhattisgarh and enclose a residence certificate issued by a competent authority.
- The appointment is on contract for one year, extendable annually on the basis of annual work evaluation reports; if the annual report is not received the appointment lapses.
- Either side may end the contract with one month's notice or one month's pay in lieu.
- Candidates who married before the minimum legal age for marriage, or who married a person with a living spouse, are not eligible.
- Separate applications are required for each post.
- Applications received after 5:30 PM on the last date, and applications submitted by hand, will not be accepted.
- Candidates previously removed from any post under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA for irregularity, indiscipline or misconduct are not eligible.
Contract Terms
Contract appointment is initially for 1 year and may be extended by 1 year at a time based on work suitability, capability, conduct and departmental requirement. No pension, gratuity or death benefit is payable for the contract service period.
