Important Details

Merit Marks Scheme
For Computer Programmer, 100 marks of weightage are given on the percentage obtained in the minimum educational qualification, 5 marks for knowledge of Dot Net Technology, Java, M.S.S.Q.L. or Oracle, and 5 marks for at least 2 years of experience in government rural development schemes at the same pay scale. For the other posts, weightage is given on the minimum educational qualification and on a computer practical examination, with additional marks for experience in government rural development schemes. A minimum of 60 percent marks in the computer and practical examination is required.
Tie-Breaking Rule
Where two candidates score equal marks, their inter se seniority is decided by age, and the older candidate is given priority in appointment.
Contract Terms
The contract appointment is for 1 year and may be extended on the basis of continuity of need, work ability, efficiency, annual performance appraisal and conduct, with the consent of both sides. Leave is admissible under the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Contract Appointment) Rules 2012, and the appointee is governed by the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules 1965. No pension, gratuity or death benefit is payable for the contract service.
Experience Certificate Requirements
An experience certificate must carry the full name and address of the issuing institution, the office order number and date, the name and designation of the issuing officer, a contact telephone number and email, the pay scale and the government rural development scheme in which the candidate worked. Experience without these details will not be counted.
