About DLSA Dumka Member, PLA Recruitment 2026

The District Legal Services Authority, Dumka, a legal services body operating under the Jharkhand judicial system, has announced recruitment for the post of Member, Permanent Lok Adalat (PLA), Dumka. There is one vacancy to be filled on a contract basis. The Member will serve in the Permanent Lok Adalat at Dumka, which handles disputes relating to public utility services such as transport, power, water supply, insurance, banking and similar sectors, drawing on the experience of persons from these fields.

Eligibility Details

Member, PLA - Qualification and Experience

Persons having adequate experience in public utility services (transport service for the carriage of passengers or goods by air, road or water; or postal telegraph or telephone service; or supply of power, light or water to the public by any establishment; or system of public conservancy or sanitation; or service in hospital or dispensary; or insurance service; or banking service; or education or educational institutions; or housing and real estate services). Candidate must not have been convicted in any criminal case and must not have any criminal case pending against them.

Salary Structure

Sitting fee of Rs. 2500 per sitting and conveyance allowance as per the Permanent Lok Adalat (Other Terms and Conditions of Appointment of Chairman and Other Persons) Amendment Rules, 2025

  2. 2Fill in the application form with name, father's name, date of birth and age, address with PIN code, email address and educational qualification
  3. 3Affix one recent passport size photograph in the space marked on the form
  4. 4Enclose copies of educational qualification certificates and experience or work profile certificates, if any
  5. 5Enclose two self addressed stamped envelopes of Rs. 55 each
  6. 6Address the completed application to the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Civil Court, Dumka
  7. 7Send the application by Speed Post or Courier so that it reaches by 10.11.2026 by 5 PM

Important Details

  • The application form carries a declaration where the candidate must state whether they have been convicted in any criminal case or whether any criminal case is pending against them (Yes/No).
  • Incomplete applications, or applications received after the last date, will not be accepted.
  • Applications must reach the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Civil Court, Dumka by Speed Post or Courier latest by 10.11.2026 at 5 PM.
