- The engagement is purely contractual and a Para Legal Volunteer does not carry any salary, remuneration or wages except an honorarium as prescribed by the National Legal Services Authority or Assam State Legal Services Authority from time to time.
- The engagement may be terminated at any time without notice if the volunteer is not found suitable to continue.
- Applications must reach the office of the District Legal Services Authority, Kokrajhar on or before 15.10.2026 till 5 PM; incomplete applications will be rejected and no application will be entertained after the last date.
- Applications may also be sent by post or courier, but the authority is not responsible for any delay caused by the Postal Department or courier service.

Role of a Para Legal Volunteer
