Block Level Mentor - Qualification and Experience
Graduate & above from a recognized University, with Diploma & above in Computer Application. Who are eligible: (a) Ex-banker and empanelled BRP from public or private sector banks who have at least 5-7 years of relevant field experience in micro or small enterprise segment in rural areas; (b) Empanelled block / district level trainers (DLTs/BLTs), Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, MBA, graduates who are conversant with functioning of banks for micro-enterprise loans; (c) Active women SHG member for last 3 years in the same block from the date of issue of notice; (d) The applicant must be valid/registered voter as per the current electoral roll. Residence: Must be a permanent resident of the block for which applied.

- 1Download the application form from the Birbhum district website or collect it from Gram Panchayat Offices, Sangha Samabay Offices of SHGs, any Block Office under Birbhum District (NRLM Section) or the Office of the Additional District Mission Director, DMMU, Suri Birbhum
- 2Fill in the application form with all the required details
- 3Attach self-attested copies of testimonials for educational qualification, computer certificate and experience
- 4Attach documentary evidence for every claim made in the application
- 5Submit the application in the sealed drop box at the Block Office (NRLM Section) of the block applied for
- 6Submit on any working day between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM on or before 30 October 2026

Important Details
- Applicants must be permanent residents of the block they apply for and must be registered voters on the current electoral roll.
- Applications are accepted only in the sealed drop box at the applicant's own Block Office (NRLM Section) on working days between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM; submissions made elsewhere or outside these hours will not be considered.
- No TA or DA is paid for appearing in the computer practical test or the walk-in interview.
- The engagement of a Mentor may be terminated or discontinued by the competent authority for non-performance, rude behaviour, misconduct or any other unsatisfactory conduct.
Honorarium and Job Responsibilities
Honorarium and job responsibilities of the Mentor are as per Reference Memo No. 817/PRD-15098/1/2023-DRLM dated 05.07.2024 of the Jt. Secretary, P&RD Deptt. and ACEO, WBSRLM, and the guidelines of the West Bengal State Rural Livelihood Mission enclosed with the notice.
