Important Details
- Written test is held only for the Dental Hygienist post
- Medical Specialist, Radiologist, Gynaecologist and Chowkidar posts are filled through interview alone.
- Candidates may preferably apply for only one post in up to two ECHS Polyclinic locations.
- Ex-servicemen and dependents applying must register with AWPO and quote the registration number in the application.
- Candidates selected in the last one year who declined to join duty need not apply, and those who have worked in empanelled hospitals must have a clear one year gap between appointments.
- Tax is deducted at source as applicable.
Contract and Service Conditions
- Contractual hiring is for 11 to 12 months; vacancies reserved for ESM run 12 months and a civilian selected against an ESM vacancy is hired for 11 months only.
- The contract can be terminated by either side with one month notice.
- Selected Medical Specialists, Radiologists and Gynaecologists undergo 10 days unpaid On Job Training and must obtain a certificate from the concerned authority before assuming charge.
Affidavit for ESM Officers
Ex-servicemen officers must submit an affidavit declaring whether they are presently receiving any resettlement facility or benefit under the Department of Ex-Service Welfare or DGR, and undertake to resign from or surrender it before joining if selected.
