Important Details
- Preference is given to PG qualified candidates for Senior Resident posts; non-PG candidates are considered only when PG qualified candidates are not available.
- No TA/DA is paid to candidates for appearing in the interview.
- Candidates reporting after 11 AM will not be considered for the walk-in interview.
- The Medical Superintendent reserves the right to cancel the recruitment or increase or decrease the vacancies as per actual requirement on the date of interview.
Senior Resident Tenure
For PG candidates the tenure is 3 years, extendable every year under the residency scheme as per the annual objective evaluation sheet of work performance of the HOD. For non-PG candidates with at least 2 years working experience in the same discipline, the tenure is 1 year.
Security Deposit and Agreement
Selected candidates must sign an agreement of terms and conditions on Rs. 100 stamp paper purchased at their own cost before joining. On engagement, Full/Part Time Specialists and Full Time Senior Residents must deposit Rs. 10,000 as security money through a demand draft in favour of 'ESIC Fund Account No.1', refundable after completion of the engagement period and on production of a No Dues Certificate.
Senior Resident Remuneration Deductions
Rs. 1,350 is deducted if the Senior Resident holds only a diploma, and Rs. 2,250 is deducted if the Senior Resident holds neither a diploma nor a degree.

Can non-PG doctors apply for the Senior Resident posts?
Yes. Non-PG doctors may be engaged as Senior Residents under the residency scheme if they have at least 2 years of working experience in the same discipline, but PG qualified candidates are preferred and non-PG candidates are considered only when PG qualified candidates are not available.
Are these permanent government posts?
No. The engagement is on a contract basis. Specialists are engaged for one year and Senior Residents on a tenure basis under the residency scheme.
What happens if a candidate reports after the reporting window?
