Selection Process
Selection is based on the merit of marks obtained in the prescribed educational and technical qualifications.
Salary Structure
Rs. 140 per period, subject to a maximum of Rs. 15,000 per month

Selection Criteria
The selection list is prepared on the merit of marks obtained in the prescribed educational and technical qualifications. For posts where CTI/ATI is required, candidates holding a one-year CTI/ATI pass certificate are considered first on the marks of their technical qualification (ITI/Diploma/Degree); if no such candidate is available, other eligible applicants are considered on the same basis. Where an applicant holds more than one prescribed technical certificate, the marks of the certificate with the highest percentage are used.
Terms of Engagement
- Guest lecturers may be invited as needed for a maximum of one training session.
- Services end automatically if the government posts a regular, transferred or contract faculty member against the post.
- The Principal or head of institute may discontinue a guest lecturer after giving a hearing if the training work or conduct is unsatisfactory.
- If a selected candidate does not report for duty within the fixed period, the selection is treated as cancelled and the first waitlisted candidate is given the chance.
Application Rules
- Separate applications must be submitted for separate institutions, trades or subjects.
- An application naming more than one trade, subject or institution will not be accepted.
- Any criminal or penal case against the applicant must be disclosed with the application; concealment leads to cancellation of the invitation.
- Applications not in the prescribed format or received after the last date will be rejected.
