Chairman - Qualification and Experience
(a)(i) Master's Degree in science relating to environment or Bachelor's Degree in engineering in a discipline relating to environment from a recognized university or institute; or Doctorate degree in environmental management and experience from a recognized University or Institution and excellent record of peer reviewed research publications. (ii) Special knowledge and ten years practical experience relating to environment protection including industrial pollution mitigation, water treatment or air pollution control devices and has rendered twenty years of service. OR (b) Officer under the State Government / Public Sector Undertaking / University / Autonomous Body / Statutory Body: (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; (ii) possessing three years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in level-13 of Pay Band matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and possessing experience specified in clause (a) above.
