Objective MCQ paper of Part-A and Part-B taken in a single question paper through CBRT or OMR mode, 210 questions for 210 marks in 3 hours; 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer and minimum 40% required separately in Part-A and Part-B.

Candidates equal to about two times the category-wise vacancies are called for verification of original certificates on the basis of merit.

Salary Structure
Fixed Rs. 26,000 per month for the first 5 years; thereafter Pay Matrix Level-2 (Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200) on satisfactory completion of 5 years

Important Details

Additional Marks in Merit
Widow candidates and sportspersons who have represented at national or international level, inter-university level, or in competitions held by the All India School Federation get 5% of the marks obtained in the competitive examination added to their merit. The benefit is withdrawn and the merit list recalculated if the supporting proof is not produced.
