Selection Process
- 1Screening of Applications
Applications are screened against the prescribed eligibility and qualification; eligible and shortlisted candidates are called by email based on project work requirement.
- 2Online Interview
Shortlisted candidates are interviewed online, tentatively in the first or second week of November 2026; selection is based on eligibility, relevant experience and performance in the interview.

Original certificates and documents from matriculation onwards are verified at the time of appointment.

Important Details
- The engagement is purely temporary and contractual and does not confer any claim to regular appointment or absorption in IARI.

- Candidates employed elsewhere must produce a No Objection Certificate from their present employer if shortlisted.
- Shortlisted candidates must bring all original certificates and documents from matriculation onwards, including date of birth, educational qualifications, experience certificates, training certificates and relevant publications or achievements.
- Candidates having near or distant relatives working in IARI must declare the details as required under applicable rules.
- No TA/DA is paid for attending the selection process.

Job Description
The selected candidate will work for the AGRIM Unit and may be assigned IT-related activities such as application and software development, database management, dashboards, data handling, automation, system support and other activities related to the Unit.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in Web Application, Website and Portal development and management using Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript or equivalent technologies
- Experience in database development and management, preferably PostgreSQL/MySQL/MSSQL
- Basic knowledge of Git, Docker and DevOps practices including deployment and CI/CD
- Knowledge of REST APIs, Linux/Unix environments and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
