Eligibility Details
Soil Science Guest Teacher / Part Time Teacher
Master degree in the relevant subject (Soil Science) of Agriculture faculty with at least 55% marks (or its equivalent grade 6.50 in 10.00 scale with good academic record). For candidates having a Master's degree, NET (National Eligibility Test) qualified shall remain compulsory along with one publication in a NAAS rated and referred journal. NET can be waived off for candidates holding a Ph.D. degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2009, and the candidate has at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4 on the last date of submission of application. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify nor get NET exemption.

Important Details
- The engagement is purely temporary for the academic session 2026-27 and carries no right to claim regular appointment on any post advertised by IGKV.
- Candidates must bring all original documents including the thesis along with one set of photocopies for verification on the date of interview, failing which they will not be allowed to appear.
- After selection, the candidate has to submit an affidavit on Rs. 50 stamp paper as per the prescribed format agreeing to IGKV's terms and conditions.
- Besides teaching, the guest teacher has to support examination, laboratory, sports, cultural activities or any other assignment allotted by the authorities.
Terms and Conditions
- The post of Guest Teacher / part time teacher is purely temporary and selected candidates will have no right to claim regular appointment based on this experience.
- If the performance of the selected candidate is found unsatisfactory, services can be withdrawn by one week notice.
- If any credential claimed by the candidate or their conduct is found wrong, they will be removed from the role.
- No TA/DA will be provided to candidates for appearing in the interview.
- Maximum age limit is 40 years; 5 years age relaxation for ST, SC, OBC and Women candidates as per C.G. Govt. rules.
