Important Details
- Candidates already employed with Central or State Government, UT Administration, autonomous or statutory organisations or PSUs must submit a No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of document verification.
- Experience gained on a part-time, daily-wage or visiting/guest faculty basis is not counted for shortlisting.
- After selection, the place of posting will be at IGNOU Headquarters or any of the Regional Centre or Regional Evaluation Centre spread across the country.

Promotion Quota for Technical Manager
Initial recruitment to Technical Manager is 100% by direct recruitment. After completion of the first cycle, 66-2/3% of posts will be filled by promotion from Technical Assistants who have rendered five years of regular service in the grade, and 33-1/3% by direct recruitment.
Written Test Centres and Syllabus
If the University decides to hold a written recruitment test, the option for choosing test centres and the display of the syllabus will be activated on the IGNOU website. The question paper may be set in English only or in both English and Hindi; in case of any dispute over interpretation, the English version will be final.
