Roles and Responsibilities
The Research Associate will support the Principal Investigator in the design, execution and analysis of the study on rural-origin first-generation graduates and their transition into urban labour markets. Duties include literature review on rural-urban migration and graduate employability, developing and pilot testing survey instruments and social-network measures, recruiting participants across selected urban locations, coordinating longitudinal panel data collection and follow-ups, maintaining participant and study records, data cleaning, coding and preliminary statistical analysis, preparing qualitative interview protocols, transcription and thematic analysis, and contributing to research reports, presentations and manuscripts.
General Terms and Conditions
- The engagement is purely temporary and project-specific.
- The appointment shall be for 04 months, extendable by 01 more month.
- Mere fulfilment of the minimum eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for the selection process.
- The Institute reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on higher qualifications, relevant experience and suitability for the project.
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the Written Test/Skill Test and/or Interview.
