Candidate must clear M.Sc./M.Sc.Tech./Integrated M.Tech. in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Exploration Geophysics/Environmental Geophysics or M.Tech. in Petroleum Exploration/M.Tech. in Fuel Engineering/M.Tech. in Petroleum Engineering with more than 80% marks or 8.00 CGPA/OGPA (on 10.0 point scale) in the relevant degree along with 1st class Ph.D degree in the relevant area.
