Three-year Bachelor's Honours degree with minimum 50 percent marks in the relevant subject from a recognised institution; four-year integrated B.A.B.Ed or regular B.Ed; CBSE conducted CTET Paper-2 (Class VI-VIII) pass preferred, STET pass candidates may be considered if CTET pass candidates are not available.

Terms of Engagement
- Guest teachers are appointed on a purely temporary basis until regular teachers take charge; no claim will be entertained afterwards.
- The appointment is entirely temporary and guest teachers cannot claim regularization of service on its basis.
- Working hours will be the same as regular teachers; being a residential school, guest teachers must remain available as per the needs of the school and students.
- Honorarium is paid as per the amount approved by NESTS / State EMRS Society; no other claim is admissible.
- Selected guest teachers must join the school within 10 days, failing which teachers will be selected from the waiting list.
- Leave is allowed only as declared by the Central Government, State Government and NESTS.
- Guest teachers must take part in co-curricular activities besides teaching, with no separate payment, and follow the instructions of the head of the institution.
- Selected teachers must sign an agreement; deviation from its terms or unsatisfactory work can lead to termination with immediate effect without prior notice.
- The district level committee reserves the right to allot the school, and its decision or that of the head of the institution is final in any dispute.
Application Form Details
- Applicants must give school preference by marking 1, 2, 3, 4 for EMRS Shilafari Gumla, EMRS Kulkupi Sisai, EMRS Sukurhutu Bharno and EMRS Tati Dumri.
- The form asks for registration number, post applied for, name, father's or husband's name, date of birth, gender, marital status, category, postal and permanent address, phone and mobile number.
- Educational qualification from secondary school onwards, computer knowledge, CTET Paper-2 qualification and work experience must be declared in the form.
