- Ph.D in Remote Sensing & GIS / Geo-informatics / Geology / Forestry / Geophysics / Earth & Atmospheric Sciences / Agriculture / Water Engineering and Management / Civil Engineering / Environmental Science or equivalent from a recognized university, or 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M.Sc / ME / M.Tech with first class in the above disciplines. One research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal is required.

Important Details
- The appointment is purely contractual on a project basis for a minimum period of one year and may be extended as per project guidelines and performance.
- RA and JPA are not entitled to Dearness Allowance, Provident Fund, pension, gratuity, medical benefit or annual increment, and are entitled only to casual leave as per JSAC and Government of Jharkhand rules.
- Reservation rules of the Government of Jharkhand apply only to BC-I/BC-II, SC and ST candidates of Jharkhand State; reserved category candidates from other states are treated as General candidates.
- Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application and pay the prescribed fee separately for each post.
- Candidates already in service must submit a No Objection Certificate with the hard copy.
- No TA/DA is admissible for attending the written test or interview.
- The place of posting is Ranchi, but the incumbent is liable to be posted anywhere in Jharkhand State as and when required.
- The application must be submitted online as well as in hard copy, and the hard copy must reach the Director, JSAC by Speed Post only.
- The Director, JSAC reserves the right to cancel the recruitment or increase or decrease the number of posts.
