About KSLU Assistant Professor and Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026

Karnataka State Law University, a state law university based in Hubballi, Karnataka, has announced recruitment for Temporary Full-Time Assistant Professor and Guest Faculty positions for the 2026-27 academic year. Note
Retired Professors and practising advocates with 15 years of practice are paid Rs. 525 per hour.

    Candidates are selected through an interview; the university communicates the interview date separately to eligible or shortlisted applicants, and original certificates and documents must be produced for verification at the interview.

Salary Structure

Temporary Full-Time Assistant Professor (Law)
Pay: Rs. 50,000 per month as consolidated pay
Temporary Full-Time Assistant Professor (Management)
Pay: Rs. 50,000 per month as consolidated pay
Temporary Full-Time Assistant Professor (Political Science)
Pay: Rs. 50,000 per month as consolidated pay
Temporary Full-Time Assistant Professor (Sociology)
Pay: Rs. 50,000 per month as consolidated pay
Guest Faculty (Law)
Pay: Rs. 450 or Rs. 525 per hour depending on qualification or professional category, plus Rs. 150 per day local conveyance

  • EPF and ESI statutory deductions are not applicable to these appointments.
