Documents to Carry / Upload
•Certified copies of APARs for the last 5 years (2020-21 to 2024-25) attested on each page by an officer not below the rank of Dy. HOD
•Year-wise statement of availability of APARs and grading signed by the Head of Department/Secretary
•Attested photocopies of all certificates and proof of educational qualification and present and past work experience in the respective post and pay scale
•No Objection Certificate from the respective Port
•Undertaking that the applicant will not withdraw candidature if selected by the Services Selection Committee
•Administrative clearance of the concerned Port (Annexure II)
•Vigilance report in the prescribed format (Annexure III)
•Two passport size photographs
•Details of any major or minor penalty imposed during the last 10 years
Important Details
- The three posts are to be filled by absorption through composite method from officers of Major Port Authorities only.
- Applications are accepted only through the Online Application Portal (OAP) of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways; no application submitted by any other mode will be accepted.
- Candidates must submit the hard copy of the OAP application to their administrative Port, which forwards it with a complete set of enclosures to Mumbai Port Authority on or before 4.11.2026.
- Advance copies will not be considered if the application is not received through the proper channel from the Port within 15 days of the last date of receipt of applications, and no piecemeal or part forwarding will be accepted.
- Two posts fell vacant with effect from 25.5.2026 and 1.6.2026, and one post will fall vacant with effect from 1.12.2026.
Debarment on Withdrawal of Candidature
A Port official who withdraws his candidature after selection by the Services Selection Committee will be liable for debarment from future selection to Dy. HoD level posts in all Major Port Authorities for a period of two years.
