Important Details
- Both posts are purely temporary and contractual for six months, subject to termination or closing of the DBT Chickpea Network Mission Project on Chickpea.
- The selected candidate must give an undertaking that he or she will not leave the assignment midway and must execute a bond on stamp paper of Rs. 100 as per University rules.
- Selected candidates will work full time at the Pulses Improvement Project, MPKV Rahuri in the field, laboratory and office, and will not be allowed to accept any other appointment or assignment during the term.
- Original and attested photocopies of the relevant documents must be produced at the time of verification.
- The actual interview date will be communicated to candidates on the contact number or email given in the application, and candidates must appear for the interview at their own cost.
- Postal delay in receipt of the application will not be considered at any stage.
Service Bond
The selected candidate will be required to give an undertaking that he or she will not leave the assignment half way and shall complete the work in the prescribed time limit. For this, the selected candidate will have to execute a bond on stamp paper of Rs. 100 as per University rules.

- DUS agro-morphological phenotypic trait characterization and evaluation of chickpea Pan Genebank core germplasm accessions to constitute morphological and iterative cores
- Genome-wide association study (GWAS) for traits of agricultural importance
- Phenotypic characterization and evaluation of chickpea iterative core germplasm accessions for abiotic stress
- Comprehensive phenotyping of chickpea iterative core germplasm accessions for drought
