NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS), a wholly owned subsidiary of NABARD and a consultancy firm in livelihoods, agriculture and rural development, has announced recruitment for four contract positions: SPMU Skill Operation, Programme Expert (Placement and Post Placement Tracking), Programme Expert (Training Centre Monitoring and Quality Assurance) and Associate Project Consultant (Finance). The roles are based in Chandigarh under the State Technical Support Agency assignment to the Punjab Skill Development Mission for the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushal Yojana, a placement-linked skill development programme of the Ministry of Rural Development.

Selection Process
- 1Preliminary Screening / Shortlisting
Candidates are shortlisted on qualifications, suitability and experience; only the requisite number of candidates are called for interview.
- 2Interview and/or Assessment of Proficiency
Held in person or through virtual mode; candidates may also be assessed for proficiency in MS Office and data management. Travel costs are not reimbursed.
- 3Medical Fitness Test
Final appointment is subject to being found medically fit through the prescribed medical tests on reporting at the place of posting.

Travel Allowance

Tax Deduction
Professional fees are liable for tax under section 392(1) of the Income Tax Act 2025 and rules in force, and tax is deducted at source.

All four posts are based at Chandigarh. Candidates can be posted anywhere in India depending upon the project requirement.
