The Odisha Public Service Commission, the state agency that recruits for Group A posts in Odisha government departments, has announced recruitment for Assistant Executive Engineer posts in the Odisha Engineering Service. A total of 758 posts are on offer, almost all for AEE (Civil) in the Water Resources, Works, and Housing and Urban Development departments, with a small number of AEE (Mechanical) posts under Water Resources. The large number of Civil vacancies reflects backlog posts of earlier years, and selection is based on a valid GATE score followed by an interview, making this a notable opportunity for engineering graduates seeking state engineering service roles.
