Reporting time: 09:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Candidates must report at the Main Gate of Physical Research Laboratory, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad and complete registration between 09:00 am and 11:30 am on 07 October 2026. Those reporting after 11:30 am will not be allowed to take part in the walk-in skill test. Eligibility is scrutinised first and only eligible candidates are allowed into the skill test. Candidates must bring the duly filled application form downloaded from the PRL website along with self-attested copies and all original certificates for date of birth, educational qualification, experience and caste. Candidates appearing without the application form, originals or copies of documents, or marks sheets, or those not fulfilling the advertised norms, will be rejected. If the skill test cannot be completed on the scheduled day, candidates may have to appear on the next day.

Important Details
- The traineeships are purely temporary for one year and do not lead to permanent absorption in the Laboratory.
- Trainees will not be treated on par with regular PRL employees and have no right to claim implicit or explicit absorption or regularization.
- Candidates who have already availed or are currently availing a similar traineeship at PRL will not be allowed to participate in the skill test.
- Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected and no interim correspondence will be entertained.
- Candidates are not allowed to carry electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, laptops, CDs, pen drives, cameras or smart watches during the skill test.
- If the skill test cannot be completed on the scheduled day for any unforeseen reason, candidates may have to appear for it on the next day.
- PRL reserves the right to cancel the walk-in skill test process.
