Selection Process

Candidates must secure written consent from a UIET faculty supervisor from the eligible branches CSE, IT or ECE.
Salary Structure
Rs. 46,250 per month in the 1st and 2nd year; Rs. 52,500 per month in the 3rd to 5th year
Fellowship: Rs. 46,250 per month in 1st and 2nd year; Rs. 52,500 per month in 3rd to 5th year (or until PhD completion, whichever is earlier) Reimbursement of Rent: 16% of the monthly fellowship, Rs. 7,400 per month in 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 8,400 per month in 3rd to 5th year Research Contingency Grant: Rs. 1.20 lakh per year One-time support of Rs. 1.5 lakh for an international conference Visit to labs abroad: one-time support for a 6-month visit from the 3rd year, with Rs. 1.5 lakh per month fellowship and travel/visa support up to Rs. 1.5 lakh
