Important Details
- Only regular candidates who secured 70% marks or CGPA 7.5 and above in the qualifying examination (Graduate, Diploma or ITI trade) for the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 are eligible.
- Candidates with a higher qualification than prescribed for the category are not eligible, and neither are candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under any organisation, or who have more than one year of work experience.
- Graduate and Technician Apprentices must have an Aadhaar seeded bank account.
- Shortlisted candidates are informed only by e-mail and must keep the e-mail and mobile number active.
- Selected candidates must execute a contract of apprenticeship on the respective portal before training begins and must produce a valid Police Verification Certificate from their place of last residence (at least the past one year) or permanent address at the time of joining.
- No TA/DA is paid, and no hostel accommodation, quarters or transport are provided during the interview or the apprenticeship period.
- There is no obligation of employment on completion of training.
Reservation
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS categories will be applicable as per provisions of the Apprentices Act 1961, Apprentice Rules 1992 and the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules 2019 and 2025.
Aadhaar Seeded Bank Account
For Graduate and Technician Apprentices it is mandatory to have an Aadhaar seeded bank account, as 50% of the stipend is paid by the Board of Apprenticeship and Training (BOAT) under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme.
