Selection Process
- 1Shortlisting of Applications
Shortlisting may be done on the basis of research achievements, academic career and computer skills of the applicants.
- 2Interview
The Selection Committee interviews candidates and assesses suitability considering research and academic record as well as language communication and computer skills.
Salary Structure
Rs. 50,000 per month fixed honorarium, without any dearness or other allowance or perquisite

Important Details
- The engagement is purely temporary and contractual, initially for two years and extendable by one year based on performance.
- The Research Scholar shall not practise in any court of law and shall not take up any other engagement on honorarium or payment during the term.
- A candidate already enrolled with a Bar Council must get the enrolment suspended for the entire term of the engagement.
- To leave early, prior notice of three months, or the residuary term if shorter, is required.
- The Research Scholar cannot leave headquarters without permission from the Director, and proportionate reduction of honorarium is made for unauthorized absence or absence beyond the permissible leave.
- Candidates must furnish names and contact details of two responsible persons of integrity, honesty and good moral character, not blood relations or other relatives, in column 21 of the application format.
