Assistant Professor for M.A. in Economics
M.A. Economics with minimum 55% with NET/SET or Ph.D. Degree (in concerned/relevant subject) in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time, as the case may be exempted from NET/SET. Candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009 shall be governed by the then existing Ordinances/Bye-laws/Regulations of the awarding institution and shall be exempted from NET/SET subject to the stated conditions. Applicants with teaching experience at PG level will be preferred.

- The candidate has published two research papers from the Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal.
- The candidate has presented at least two papers based on the Ph.D. work in conferences or seminars sponsored, funded or supported by UGC, ICSSR, CSIR or any similar agency.
Other Conditions
- Candidates from all categories can apply for open posts.
- Candidates having knowledge of or proficiency in the Marathi language will be preferred.
- Candidates must disclose any pending court cases, criminal cases or disciplinary actions, and report any later change to the University.
