Important Details
- Candidates must not have completed three years of senior residency from any Government Hospital.
- Appointment is subject to medical fitness and verification of certificates of educational qualification, age, category, DMC registration and internship completion.
- The number of posts may change at the time of interview, and in case of non-availability of reserved category candidates the seats shall be open for all.
Candidates Who Completed Three Years of Senior Residency
- In specialties where fresh candidates are not available, candidates who have completed 03 years of Senior Residency and are willing to serve as Senior Resident may also be allowed to appear in the interview.
- A separate merit list is prepared for candidates who have completed three years of residency as SR.
- The list of fresh candidates is exhausted first for appointment as SR; the second list is used only after that.
- Senior Residents appointed from the second list are for one year only and it is not renewable after one year.
OBC Certificate Requirement
OBC candidates must submit their category certificate along with a current Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued by the competent authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi only, for the current financial year and issued before the date of application. The certificate should be issued for Delhi specifically.
Other Service Conditions
- No TA/DA will be given for appearing in the interview.
- Persons with disabilities shall be given relaxation as per rule.
- Other service conditions will be applicable as prescribed from time to time by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
- The services of SR will be governed by the Residency Scheme of Govt. of India and Civil Services (Temporary Rules).
- The decision of the selection board regarding selection will be final and binding.
