Selection Process

Salary Structure
Rs. 37,000 + 20% HRA per month for the first 2 years as JRF and Rs. 42,000 + 20% HRA for the 3rd year as Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Project Details
One Junior Research Fellow post under the National Monsoon Mission grant received from the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune (Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India) for the project "Predictability of Summer Monsoon from the latest version of dynamical prediction system of India over Central India with special reference to Madhya Pradesh and Chhatishgarh". The post is at the K. Banerjee Centre of Atmospheric and Ocean Studies (KBCAOS), University of Allahabad, Prayagraj.
Desirable Qualification
- Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge of Big Data Analysis and Display tools, Mathematical Modeling, Climate Models, Artificial Intelligence, HPC, LINUX, MATLAB, C++, Python
- At least 60% marks at the Under Graduate and Post Graduate degree level
