Important Details
- Only candidates who appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 and have been issued a PET 2025 scorecard can apply.
- Shortlisting for the main examination is based on normalized PET 2025 scores, and candidates with zero or negative normalized scores will not be shortlisted.
- Candidates whose PET 2025 result is marked provisional or under investigation may be allowed to apply provisionally, subject to the outcome of the Commission's inquiry.
- Only one application can be made for the advertised posts.
- Candidates who are not residents of Uttar Pradesh will be treated as unreserved and cannot claim reservation benefits.
- EWS candidates must hold a certificate issued between 01-04-2026 and 25-11-2026, based on 2025-26 income and valid for 2026-27.
- Serving government employees must obtain a no-objection certificate from their employer.
- The Rs. 25 paid at the application stage is only the online processing fee; shortlisted candidates pay the main examination fee separately before downloading the main examination admit card.
- The application printout can be taken only after the bank reconciles the fee, which must be done by 25-11-2026 or at the latest within seven days, that is by 02-12-2026.

Can candidates who did not appear in UPSSSC PET 2025 apply?
No. Only candidates who appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 and were issued a PET 2025 scorecard by the Commission can apply for the main examination.
Can a candidate apply for more than one post?
Only one application is allowed, but within that single application a candidate can select more than one of the advertised posts. A post that is not selected carries no claim.
Do candidates from other states get reservation benefits?
