Marks Distribution
- 70 percent marks are given on the percentage obtained in the minimum educational qualification
- No marks for the minimum required experience; 2 marks for every additional year of experience, up to a maximum of 10 marks
- 20 marks are fixed for the personal interview
Tie-Breaking Rule
If candidates score equal marks in the merit list, the older candidate is given preference. If the age is also the same, the candidate with higher marks in the minimum educational qualification is preferred.
Waiting List
For every post, 25 percent of the candidates or 3 candidates, whichever is higher, are kept on the waiting list. The selection list and waiting list remain valid for 1 year from the date of publication.
Reservation
Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes follows the Chhattisgarh Public Service (Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes) Act, 1994 and the rules issued under it.
